Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 2: Tiger Shroff's Film Sees A Dip, Earns In Single Digits
Box Office India Trade Network

BAAGHI 4 collected around 10.5-11 crore nett on its first day but the collections are pretty much a farce driven by offers and bookings and on top this was a holiday for Eid. Basically it a three way assault on the box office with bookings, offers and a holiday. Despite this assault, it is still the lowest opening for the franchise as the first BAAGHI in 2016 had opened at 12 crore nett.

The box office becomes pretty much irrelevant when it is manufactured to this extent and comparisons all become pointless. The comparison would probably have been a film like JAAT released a few months back and in a similar zone. But that is one of those very rare clean films post the post pandemic. On the face of it, BAAGHI 4 has collected more than JAAT but the latter is genuine and the latter is fake.

SKY FORCE, released earlier this year, is a different zone film to BAAGHI 4 but that is probably the comparison and BAAGHI 4 has collected a little less. But that film had collected almost 13 crore nett in the same way BAAGHI 4 has collected 11 crore nett. That film had ratios all over the place and its the same here with BAAGHI 4 as some high end multiplexes score better than single screens on the numbers shown.

The farce of SKY FORCE carried on for some time and eventually its numbers were taken to 100 crore nett and it remains to be seen where BAAGHI 4 is taken. It does take deep pockets to repeat a SKY FORCE and as of now, the second day of BAAGHI 4 is without the aid the bookings. But this dip can be made anytime to prop up the numbers.
------------------------------------
BAAGHI 4 continued with dull collections on the second day. Though the two day numbers look reasonable, they are just numbers and not the real collections. The investment from the makers side looks to be less on the second day but it is there. The drop is there due to the lesser investment on the second day; otherwise, the film would have been flat.

The number of the film on day two was 9 crore nett while on day one it was 11 crore nett giving it a two day number of 20 crore nett. It remains to seen what is done on Sunday and then does this farce continue into the weekdays. Even if we take these numbers on face value, they can be called ok or reasonable but definitely not GOOD. So, its a bit of a pointless exercise.

The franchise has seen much better days with even these fake numbers making a film like BAAGHI 3 look very good which did not do that well. Here the franchise has gone all wrong as it goes the route of violence probably influenced by the success of ANIMAL which may have had violence but above that, it was a human drama which is what worked for the film.

Also there was some excessive violent dubbed film from Kerala last year which got a lot of media attention with its Hindi release. That may have been taken seriously as well though at the box office, the film could not break out. The reason a break out was impossible was because of excessive violence while its action which is preferred by the core Hindi audiences. Its this excessive repulsive violence which made BAAGHI 4 practically dead on arrival.

The numbers of BAAGHI 4 till date are as follows.
Friday - 11,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 9,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 19,50,00,000 apprx
