A few days ago, it was reported that Subhash Ghai is all set to make a sequel to the 1993 release Khal Nayak that starred Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit. Talking to us, the filmmaker confirmed that he is taking the story of the popular 90s film ahead.

Ghai told us, “Yes, the script is complete now and the rest of the cast and technicians will soon be finalized.”

As per reports, the new instalment will feature a fresh cast with newcomers, while the original stars, Madhuri and Sanjay, will probably make special appearances to add a dose of nostalgia. Khal Nayak also featured the hugely popular track Choli Ke Peeche by Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun, and we have to wait to see if this hit track, which the current generation is still grooving to, will make it to the film.
