MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI dropped on Monday collecting 50 lakhs nett which takes the total of the film to a little over 5 crore nett. The drop is considerable from the first day but obviously the first day got a boost from the buy one get one free offer. These offers are simply bad for the box office and the public knows such an offer means the content is sub standard.

The offer may incite a few consumers who would not otherwise go but that means the film is not standing on its own. Eventually the story of MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI is no different from most of the films which push the opening day with an offer. The first week looks to be heading for a 6.25 crore nett total. 

The business of the film is very similar to LOVEYAPA, another film in the similar genre. That film is still running at a few places in the third week and its looking like a 7 crore nett end for that film; MERE HUSBAND KI BIWI is looking at a similar end.
