CHHAAVA continues its remarkable run as it collected around 16 crore nett on its second Monday which is a 30% drop from the Friday which saw near record level collections. The hold is phenomenal though not as strong as PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE which had a stronger hold and collected 20 crore nett. The drop for that film came on Tuesday in the second week.

The situation is likely to be different with CHHAAVA as there is a holiday on Wednesday which is going to hold up collections better over the next two days. The film has a total of 323 crore nett on the board so far. It could be looking at 375 crore nett total at the end of the week depending on the jump in business on Wednesday and the drop thereafter.

The highest second week ever is PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE at 178 crore nett and that maybe out of reach of the film unless the jump on Wednesday is at an extraordinary level. Still even if it does not reach the PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE level, it will be beating every other film in terms of the second week business which includes all the other original Hindi films to reach 500 crore nett as well as BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION.
