PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE (Hindi) had an outstanding New Years Day as it collected 8.75 crore nett and became the first film in history to collect 700 crore nett. The collections of the film so far are 704 crore nett and there is more to come. The growth is much better on New Years Day as compared to Christmas Day last week.

The fourth week will now go over the 50 crore nett which is actually more impressive than the 700 crore nett. A film hitting 50 crore nett in week four is pretty much unbelievable and unimaginable and here it cant be said that the film has had open field with no films releasing as MUFASA: THE LION KING and BABY JOHN did release.

The fourth week has only seen two films STREE 2 and JAWAN get over 30 crore nett and that tells how huge this 50 crore nett number is. It will be interesting to see where the film goes from here as the film has broken more or less every record in the book till date and with a strong holiday period, you would expect some exhaustion. But so far, the film has shown no signs of that.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE (Hindi) remains unstoppable even post the holiday period as it records collections in the range of 3.5-3.75 crore nett on the last day of the week. On Monday, the film had collected 5.25 crore nett and after two days where the holiday boosted the film, it has dropped less than 30% from the Monday. You would expect the film has some exhaustion at some some point but at the moment, it does not look the case especially if today again holds up.

The fourth week collected over 50.50 crore nett which is the highest fourth week collection by a margin beating the 31.50 crore nett of STREE 2. The total collection of the film in four weeks is 708 crore nett and there is a chance that the film can get to 750 crore nett. The lifetime business of the film looks to be heading to be in the 740-750 crore nett range at present.

Mumbai circuit stands at an unbelievable 258 crore nett which is more than the all India business of all original Hindi films released this year apart from STREE 2. CP Berar has become the fourth Hindi circuit to hit the 50 crore nett mark after Mumbai, Delhi/UP and East Punjab. PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE is heading for an insane 55 crore nett plus total in CP Berar. BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION held the previous record at 34 crore nett plus.
