PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE (Hindi) remained the top film on Christmas day as it collected 13.75 crore nett which was more than new release BABY JOHN and MUFASA: THE LION KING. The jump on Christmas day is 35% which could have been better but some of this jump is factored in on Tuesday. The evening and night shows slowed which meant a lesser jump.

This is minor for PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE and it hardly matters for the film. Its hands down the best film post pandemic which can be seen easily be seen by these insane records across the core heavily populated states across the country. Gujarat will cross 100 crore nett, Rajasthan may hit 50 crore nett while Bihar and CI will go to 30 crore nett plus. This is simply unthinkable and unprecedented and its this audience that decides the greatness of a film be it MOTHER INDIA, SHOLAY, KRANTI, GADAR, BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONLCUSION and now PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE.

PUSHPA 2 - THE RULE has a huge total of 651 crore nett plus so far and there may be a drop today as the last two days have been strong but the trajectory will go up over the weekend again. The film looks to be heading for a 725-750 crore nett total though it will be end of next week that will give a better idea.
