The new release KILL collected around 1.3-1.35 crore net with better collections in Mumbai circuit and South India. This is relatively speaking. The traditional action circuits of North and Central as well as Bihar are less. So basically, a film for the gentry and action has never really worked well with gentry.
The film needs a huge jump on Saturday to stay in the race and then weekdays will have to stay at Friday levels for the film to have a chance. The film has done better in US with good collections as it attempts to cater to the non sub continent crowd.
------------------------------
KILL collected 2 crore nett on day two jumping around 60% but it makes little difference as the initial was too low for a film of this genre. The genre has its limitations post the opening day in terms of growth and here its also a 1000 plus screen release for a film with limited appeal and many of these are just not going to grow much.
The two day business of the film is 3.30 crore nett which is far too low and on top the areas which do better for action are underperforming. The audience in these belts have probably seen it like a violent thriller or something and generally kept away.
The collections of KILL are as follows.
Friday - 1,30,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 2,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 3,30,00,000 apprx
