DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE had a very good first day as it collected 21 crore nett with the surprise coming in Delhi/UP as the circuit heads for a 4 crore nett final total which will be almost 20% all India ratio. This has not happened for Hollywood for a long long time that Delhi/UP gets such a ratio.

The film had a huge release in the South and it looked like it would drive but that is not the case as the Delhi/UP figures pushes up the Hindi markets ratio. Mumbai circuit could have done better as well as South as these are the drivers of Hollywood.

The opening is the fourth highest post pandemic from Hollywood and is also the fourth film to get over the 20 crore nett for Hollywood. The good ratio of numbers from the Hindi circuits makes growth possible for the film over weekend though eventually the genre is frontloaded.
