MR & MRS MAHI hit the 25 crore nett mark as it picked up around 1.25 crore nett on its eighth day. The collections could have been closer to the Thursday figure but this is the difference a new release makes which makes it difficult to get the same number especially if the other film actually does well which is the case with MUNJYA.

MR & MRS MAHI is not doing that well in the Hindi belts anyway but the metros, where it is better, has got a new option and that hits the collections. The film should recover well enough on Saturday but the Friday number is on the lower side which makes a double digit week harder. It can still maybe reach but a lot depends where the weekday numbers land.

The film has done okay business till date but that is mainly as expectations are so low within the industry post Eid that a 35-40 crore nett total for a film like this looks decent. This is not actually the case but industry is at its lowest ebb at present.
