Her first-ever performance in India, and her first concert in eight years, was absolutely Diamonds-worthy. Rihanna set the stage on fire as she took to the stage for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Belting out chart toppers Wild Things, and Only Girl (In the World), among others, the Barbadian singer ensured that she ate and left no crumbs. Spotted enjoying her performance in the star-studded crowd were actors Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, who shook a leg in a video doing the rounds. Janhvi Kapoor in fact got the international icon to shake a leg on Zingaat from her film Dhadak (2018).

The best part of the evening was, however, reserved by the Lift Me Up and Born Again singer for the paparazzi and police forces at the airport as she departed after her performance.

She stepped out of her car and graciously addressed the paps, “I love India, the show was the best. I haven’t done a Ro show in eight year, I wanna be back.”

She also obliged them with selfies and pictures with a couple of them — even asking her security to back off! Later, the 36-year-old hugged a police personnel, and posed with all of them.
