HANUMAN (Hindi) also got the benefit of the Republic Day as it grossed 1.75 crore nett to take its total to over 40 crore nett and it should go on from here to cross the 50 crore nett mark. The film is a HIT but could not really break out as it seems to be working more for sentiments rather than the film itself.

The film is best in Mumbai circuit driven by a superb collections in Gujarat/Saurashtra with collections of 16.50 crore nett in Mumbai till date. By the end of the third weekend end, it will be ahead of 12TH FAIL in a circuit like Mumbai despite much less business in Mumbai city and Pune in the circuit. This would be pretty much unthinkable before the pandemic but this is how the dynamics of the box have changed post pandemic.

Rajasthan, CP Berar and Odisha have already crossed 12TH FAIL but that film had good business in the South while HANUMAN (Hindi) contribution in South is limited due to regional versions being played there.

South, Delhi/UP, West Bengal and maybe East Punjab will stay below 12TH FAIL while others will beat the Vikrant Massey starrer. The film has done 90 crore nett in Nizam/Andhra till date and will probably be the first small film to cross 100 crore. This number normally only comes for the bigger stars. A PUSHPA, for instance, had done around 130 crores in the circuit.
