SAM BAHADUR picked up well on Saturday as it collected 9 crore nett taking its two day total to 15 crore nett. These collections are pretty good considering the competition from ANIMAL and may have been higher if it was a solo release. A solo release may have given potential for more growth as well as here, the bulk of the Saturday audience has gone to ANIMAL.

The film has recorded good occupancy in Mumbai, NCR and Bangalore on Saturday but outside these places, there is limited support. For the film itself the film needed higher collections on day one and because of this first day number, the growth also had to be higher as this film is not like another Vicky Kaushal starrer ZARA HATKE ZARA BACHKE but a much bigger one. The film is very much dependent on the Monday which has to hold up strongly and be close to the Friday number which would give it a good run till the Christmas releases.

The plus for the film is that it has put up 15 crore nett over two days against ANIMAL and not many would have expected that. A 9 crore nett on Saturday is actually a good collection in the present scenario as bigger star cast films have not managed this when released alone.
