Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 shoot delayed due to actor’s health concerns
HINDUSTAN TIMES (December 3, 2023)

The shoot of Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated upcoming film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has encountered a delay owing to the actor’s reported back pain. The movie, currently in production in Hyderabad, has been put on hold.

Initial glimpses of the film showcased Arjun adorned in a jatara get-up, with sources indicating that scenes related to this particular appearance were being filmed. Shedding light on the situation, an insider reveals, “Allu Arjun was in the jatara get-up to shoot for a song and a fight sequence. However, the costume and the vigorous scenes gave him severe back pain. He was willing to continue shooting despite the discomfort, but Sukumar, the director, advised Arjun to prioritise his health and take a break.”

A representative from Arjun’s team confirmed to us that filming has been rescheduled to resume in the second week of December: “Shooting will resume once Allu Arjun recuperates from this setback.”

Pushpa 2, featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil with Allu Arjun, is slated to hit screens next year.
