TEJAS had a dull first day as it collected around 1.15-1.25 crore nett on its first day. The film managed to get over 1 crore nett which looked a best case scenario in the morning. The collections improved post the afternoon but the improvement was just not good enough. The opening numbers are also better than the previous few films led by Kangana Ranaut but that is also not saying much as none of these films managed to get to the 1 crore nett mark.

12TH FAIL has managed decent business in the 1-1.05 crore nett range as it picked up well. Although the number of the film is lower than TEJAS, the film also has a much smaller release with 500 screens apprx. The film made good strides through the day and may get a audience in the metros. A lot depends what happens post Monday for this film and that Monday number has to be around the Friday number if it is to get a decent run.

The other release of the week SAJINI SHINDE KA VIRAL VIDEO was a total dead duck with collections of under 10 lakhs nett. The collections of the film are probably around 7 lakhs nett and this film showed no pick up as the day progressed.

These three new releases have only collected in the bigger multiplexes as LEO (Hindi) continues to dominate generally in most the Hindi centres despite being in week two.
