ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI remains super strong in overseas and is an overseas BLOCKBUSTER as its collections cross $15 million. There was competition this week with GADAR 2 and OMG 2 and despite the former doing well, it has not really affected the collections of ROCKY AUR RANI KII PREM KAHAANI.

The film started with competition from BARBIE and OPPENHEIMER but there was a continued push for shows from the distributors and this has worked well for the film. This week saw the release of OMG 2 from the same studio but that has had an haphazard release in overseas.

The film has crossed the $7 million mark in US/Canada making it the ninth highest grosser in that circuit and the overall overseas numbers have beaten all films featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. So is the highest grosser for both of them as far as overseas is concerned. The film still has legs and could cross the business of films like 3 IDIOTS and HAPPY NEW YEAR from overseas in original format.
