ZARA HATKE ZARA BACHKE got benefit of the rejection of ADIPURUSH as collections held up very strong since Monday and the film managed to record a 9 crore nett third week which would not have been possible had ADIPURUSH scored at the ticket window.

This has taken the collections of the film to 70 crore nett and now there will be more to come as that big film is out of the way and its another period where there will not be many releases. The business of the film remains super strong in places like Delhi/UP, Rajasthan and CI. Mumbai circuit could have been better but its holding up with steady collections.

The film will have the strongest box office trend this year if we take take out THE KERALA STORY and even that film would not have held as well as this film will do from week four.

The new release 1920: HORRORS OF THE HEART had fair collections on day one considering how films are opening. This film has opened better than the likes of KUTTEY, MRS CHATTERJEE VS NORWAY and GUMRAAH with collections of around 1.25-1.50 crore nett.

The earlier 1920 films have done respectable business with the strongest being 1920: EVIL RETURNS which was a success at the box office and opened to 3.50 crore nett and did over 20 crore nett business in 2012. This film is not up to that level in terms of initial but for the present time, a 1 crore nett plus opening is a fair result for the film.

ZARA HATKE ZARA BACHKE is now a SUPER HIT film as it holds collections superbly on its fourth Friday which was likely to happen due to the huge rejection of ADIPURUSH and the way this film had held up so well over the weekdays. It collections were a little up from the Thursday and its looking at a super strong fourth week.

This film has almost reached the 72 crore nett mark and now its looking to finish at around 85 crore nett. The lack of releases post pandemic has seen accepted films get longer runs and it has turned out to be the same for this film.
