TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR saw a drop in collections over the fourth weekend due to the release of BHOLAA. The numbers are 65% down while the previous weekend saw a much better trend for the film due to the open run.

The fourth weekend was around 3 crore nett taking its overall total to 119 crore nett. The film is around 7 crore nett less than GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI and it has an outside chance to maybe reach the numbers of the Alia Bhatt starrer. That film had lower costs than TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR and did much better overseas proving to be a HIT.

TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR will score over GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI in Delhi/UP (by a margin), East Punjab and Rajasthana amd maybe CI. Its due to the more northern flavour of the film compared to the Maharashtra flavour of GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI.
