BHOLAA did well on Sunday as it jumped well across all the mass circuits and collected around 12.75 crore nett for an overall jump of around 20%. Despite the Sunday jump, the extended weekend business is on the lower side. The weekend total was 40 crore nett but its over four days. The same total in three days would have been pretty good.

The mass pockets have not given the numbers they should have for an action film like this which is actually being driven by the multiplexes. This might be due to Ramazan or maybe as more of the mass market audience has seen the original Tamil film. The 3D factor also gives a better chance for higher collections at multiplexes.

The film should get a Monday push in the evening in various centres as it is a holiday on Tuesday but it has to hold well from here. The film really has to a lot of work to do to emerge a HIT and a more realistic aim is success and that too because there are a few holidays which it can benefit from Eid.
