TU JHOOTHI MAIN MAKKAAR has had a decent first week as collections remained steady through the weekdays. It was a nine day first week so the film should have collected higher than the 78.50 crore it eventually got in the nine days of week one.

The let down was the weekend where the business was underperforming due to the Hindi belt circuits not really performing as they should. It did good business in the bigger centres and continued to do so through the week especially NCR where the film has done very well.

The film is unlikely to be a HIT unless the second Friday really surprises and goes above the Thursday business and even then it is a long road ahead for HIT business. But it can be a success as long as the second Friday does not fall a lot. The best performance is in Delhi /UP even though UP is very average.
