Kubbra Sait is not one to be active on social media just for the sake of it. The actor doesn’t want to give in to the many trends that crop up on a daily basis. Saying that she is still “learning” the social media game, Sait adds, “The other day, I heard someone saying, ‘Your Instagram is a vibe’, and I thought I must be doing something right. I don’t want to be that person who is having an Instagram account just to say how pretty I am. I would rather post about things that show my vibe. I don’t want to do things that are not authentically me.”

The 39-year-old, who has been seen in web projects such as Sacred Games and Foundation, adds that she doesn’t feel the pressure to be hugely active on social media, like many of her contemporaries. “I am not like, ‘Boss, sab dancing ke videos daal rahe hain, main bhi dance ke videos kar loon; sab motivation videos daal rahe hain, I should also do that; koi podcast kar raha hai, then that’... No! I am only concerned about myself. At the end of the day, I am the one who is taking my career forward. The choices I make should put me in a situation to say, ‘I made that mistake’ or ‘I did this well, so I can do more of it’. I am not in competition with someone. That is what has helped me to move forward,” the actor explains.

So, does she not care about the number of likes on her posts? Sait says, “I do worry sometimes. But I feel I am doing pretty well right now. I feel happy waking up in the morning and going to do my job.”
