While real-life couple Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi have shared screen space in the past in Rangeelay (2013) and Ungli (2014), now they are all set to play a married couple for the first time in an upcoming comedy-drama penned by Chetan Bhagat. The film, shot in Mumbai, is set against the backdrop of the lockdown during the Coronavirus pandemic.
A source associated with the project shares, “It’s a funny story based on a couple’s experience of living together during the lockdown. The casting was done keeping their natural chemistry in mind. Neha and Angad had a great time working together. They are each other’s sounding board, and shooting for the film was an extension of that.”
Neha and Angad’s daughter Mehr and son Guriq accompanied them to the shoot. The source adds, “They would spend quality time together as a family on the set. It was a tight schedule and the two made sure to wrap up the film within days.”
