BHEDIYA (Hindi) fared poorly in week one as it collected around 38 crore nett. The holds on the weekdays were reasonable but the damage had been done with the weekend and then the Monday drop more so the weekend as if that does not go high enough, then the Monday is always likely to be low.

The first week collections compare poorly with JUGJUGG JEEYO which collected collected 50 crore nett and the problem is just not the all India figure is lower but practically every circuit is lower outside maybe Bihar, Assam and Odisha. JUGJUGG JEEYO is very urban and so BHEDIYA should have at least recorded better numbers in the Hindi circuits like CI and Rajasthan.

The competition is weak this week; so the film could hold but there is not much the film can do apart from get over the 50 crore nett mark. UUNCHAI (which now looks more respectable after BHEDIYA) and DRISHYAM 2 had given the industry a boost. BHEDIYA could not continue the momentum and turned out to be a downer.
