Sita Ramam's Hindi version has been released in cinemas on September 2. It is a period love story and what makes it fascinating is its incredible storyline. The way the writers Hanu Raghavapudi and Raj Kumar Kandamudi have touched upon India vs Pakistan relations and then connected it to the principal plot, of the romance between the two lovers, is seen to be believed. One can’t predict what will happen next and that’s its greatest strength. Director Hanu Raghavapudi has also mounted the film on a huge scale; each and every frame looks stunning and gives a déjà vu of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film. Sadly, a few scenes are executed very quickly and in a little amateur manner. Some developments are bewildering and stand out like a sore thumb. The dubbing of the songs, too, isn't upto the mark. Speaking of performances, Dulquer Salmaan, as expected, is terrific. Mrunal Thakur is a surprise. She looks stunning and delivers her best performance till date. Rashmika Mandanna is superb in a supporting role. Sachin Khedekar leaves a huge mark. Sumanth, Tharun Bhascker, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, Prakash Raj, Ashwath Bhatt, Tinnu Anand, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jisshu Sengupta and Bhumika Chawla are fine. All in all, Sita Ramam deserves a watch!
