There’s buzz that Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have apparently called it quits after being in a relationship for around six years. They never confirmed their relationship, but always maintained that they were good friends. Since they both are fitness enthusiasts and given their common interests, which ranged from food to beach vacations, it led to speculations of an obvious romance. It’s said that the two weren’t going too strong through the last year and they finally decided to part ways earlier this year.

When we reached out to Tiger’s father, Jackie Shroff, he said, “They (Tiger and Disha) have always been friends and are still friends. I have seen them go out together. Not that I keep track of my son’s love life (laughs!). That’s the last thing I want to do and infringe on their privacy. But I feel that they are thick buddies. They spend time with each other besides work.”

Jackie Shroff further shared that it is Tiger and Disha’s personal life, and they will decide how to go about it. He added, “It is up to them whether they are together or not, whether they are compatible or not. It is their love story, like me and my wife (Ayesha) have our love story. We share a good equation with Disha.”

Sources close to the couple told us, “The two have been friends for a long time, but Tiger is too focussed on his life and fitness to be invested in a relationship. He was clear from the beginning about it. Disha was hopeful that things would eventually change, but that wasn’t happening. One-sided relationships are emotionally draining and that led to tension between the two. One found the other controlling. Trouble was brewing for a while, and they finally outgrew each other. They have parted ways and moved on for good. This is best for the both of them.”

Apart from the personal equation, Disha and Tiger shared professional ties, too, as the two collaborated in films like Baaghi 2 (2018), Baaghi 3 (2020) and a music video, Befikra (2016). Disha has also acted with Jackie in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai (2021). Tiger’s sister Krishna, too, shares a great equation with Disha, which could be seen in their social media posts.

In a chat with us earlier, Krishna had said, “At a time where people try to bring each other down, Disha and I always try to lift each other up. It is nice to have such an equation between two women. So, it is cool to have Disha by my side. I keep telling her that she is like the sister that I never had. Personality-wise, she is more like Tiger. The two of us are quite different from each other.”
