BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 has emerged a BLOCKBUSTER film as it remains super steady on the weekdays of its third week. The film still has legs and now should go past the 175 crore nett mark as SAMRAT PRITHVIRAJ has not performed well, leaving the Hindi market to BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 for the next few weeks.

BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 is also the first BLOCKBUSTER for original Hindi content since TANHAJI: THE UNSUNG WARRIOR in 2020. There was THE KASHMIR FILES which was bigger than BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 but that film worked in a different way at the box office and did not get to the level it got organically. 

The footfalls of the film could also edge past SOORYAVANSHI depending on where the film eventually goes. The multiplex footfalls will go past SOORYAVANSHI is a few days but there is a big difference in the footfalls from single screens.

There have been so many films which have been saved from major losses by satellite and digital with 83 the one to go wrong and despite good business even SOORYAVANSHI and GANGUBAI KATHIAWADI needed support from satellite and digital to get minor profits. Here BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 will cover cost of production, PA and interest costs from its worldwide theatrical share alone.
