Disha Vakani, popularly known as Dayaben from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has become a mother for the second time. The actress delivered a baby boy a few days ago.

Disha’s brother Mayur Vakani, who plays the role of Sunderlal in Taarak Mehta..., confirned the news. He said, “I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again.”

Recently there was buzz that Disha would return to Taarak Mehta...soon. She has been missing from the show since her maternity break in 2017. The only appearance she made was in 2019 during a Navratri special episode.

When asked about her return, Mayur said, “Disha will surely return to the show. It has been a long time and Taarak is the only show she has acted in for so many years. So there is no reason why she should not return to the show. We are all waiting when she will get back to working on the sets."

While Disha remained unavailable for comment, her husband Mayur Padia, responded with a text message. He said, “Disha is busy with our newborn son and she will speak to you soon.”
