BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 had an excellent first week as it grossed 90 crore nett plus. The hold for the film were fantastic over the weekdays though some mass pockets did see drops on Wednesday and Thursday. But this was bound to happen as Monday and Tuesday levels were similar to Friday.

The film has seen very good collections all over with South being the underperformer though this is the normal for a Hindi mass comedy. The other underperformer is normally East but here the horror factor in the film has worked in its favour there especially in West Bengal as that genre has more takers in that part of the country.

The film is likely to cross the business of SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY on Saturday to become the highest grosser for Kartik Aaryan. However, its not really about that but more about can it get over the 150 crore nett mark and for that it will probably need a 40 crore nett second week which is possible.
