BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 collected an excellent 54.50 crore nett in its first weekend with a super solid trend across the country over the weekend. The opening was generally good on day one and the places which underperformed came on board either on the second day or the third day. The collections on Sunday were fantastic in mass pockets

The opening weekend is easily the highest for Kartik Aaryan as it scores well above the 32-33 crore nett weekend numbers of PATI PATNI AUR WOH (2019) and LUKA CHUPPI (2019). In fact, not only the weekend but BHOOL BHULAIYAA 2 has even crossed the first week business of these films.

The business is good in all circuits but comparatively the best markets are probably CI and West Bengal with the South circuits being a bit less as these mass Hindi comedies have a lesser market there and that includes franchise films like GOLMAAL, HOUSEFULL and DHAMAAL.

The film should emerge a HIT as Monday had some advance which is a good sign but the question will be how good can it be and it can it really sustain well over the next few weeks for a big lifetime number.
