KGF - CHAPTER 2 scored an another huge day as it collected 25 crore nett on the Monday. The drop is a little over 50% from the first day but that was a holiday. If we take the Friday numbers, then the drop is 45% and be it comparing with Thursday or Friday it is an outstanding hold.

The four day business of the film is around 215 crore nett and it should get to 265-270 crore nett over the extended first week. The seven day week will see a new all time record as it surpasses the numbers of BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION. The holds were fantastic all over with East India being a bit better than the rest especially Odisha which dropped just 40% from day one and stands at almost 7 crore nett after five days. It has crossed all releases except BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and that will be done in the next few days.

The Monday is also a non holiday record as no film has hit the 25 crore nett mark on Monday without a holiday. It is also the only film to cross 200 crore nett in five days. Basically all weekend and first week records will be smashed by this film. However, its unlikely to compete with BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION after week one as this is more male mass film and S S Rajamouli's film had a larger family audience.
