THE KASHMIR FILES had a phenomenal second weekend as it racked up collections of 71 crore nett plus over the second weekend. This is the third highest second weekend ever after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and DANGAL but it would have been first if BACHCHHAN PAANDEY was not there for competition. Both BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION and DANGAL had no competition in week two.

The film is also likely to hit an all time record beating BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION on its second Friday as the final collections settle at the end of the week. The growth on Sunday was limited as it hit capacity issue at multiplexes.

THE KASHMIR FILES is out of this world in North India and could even challenge the biggest of films including BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION in Delhi/UP and East Punjab in terms of final collections but it remains to be seen how the next few weeks go. The total collections stand at 167 crore nett and its going past the highest post pandemic grosser SOORYAVANSHI in the next few days.

This film has come out of nowhere and owned the box office and it will continue to do so for sometime.

The collections of THE KASHMIR FILES till date are as follows.
First Week -  96,14,00,000
Friday - 19,75,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 25,00,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 26,50,00,000 apprx
Second Weekend - 71,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,67,39,00,000 apprx

THE KASHMIR FILES has also scored overseas thanks to outstanding business in US/Canada. The film had started with and $80k first day in US/Canada and now the total after ten days stands at a phenomenal $2.5 million.

In the first WEEK, it collected $1m in US/Canada while the second WEEKEND has collected $1.5 million. Like India, it is a jackpot in US/Canada and the business could go anywhere. The other markets are generally doing good business and holding collections well.

The film is banned in all Gulf states so its mainly about UK and Australia for the rest of its business. In Australia it stands at $600k apprx after second weekend while the United Kingdom is £225k plus. These may not compare with US/Canada but are still very good numbers.

The overseas numbers for the film after ten days are around $3.6-3.7 million which is 27 crore apprx. The worldwide business of the film is 195 cr gross in India and 27 crore overseas for a total of 222 crore after ten days.
