THE KASHMIR FILES was phenomenal on the second day as the collections went to 8.25 crore nett with many screens added across the country especially mass pockets where the film did not see a release on day one and this is likely to go up further.

The standout on day two was Gujarat/Saurashtra and Delhi/UP which saw growth of 300% on the second day compared the 150% growth across India. This lead to Mumbai circuit going over 3 crore nett on day two compared to 1.25 crore nett on day one.

The performance of the film is equally impressive in East Punjab and other areas are slowly catching especially as screens get added. The two day business of the film is 11.50 crore nett and Sunday is likely to put up a huge number as multiplexes across all major cities look like getting close to their capacities. The public has basically taken to the film and the sky is the limit.

RADHE SHYAM went nowhere on Saturday as it collected in the same range as Friday to have a two day total of 9 crore nett. The collections of RADHE SHYAM went the opposite as compared to THE KASHMIR FILES as it dropped at many places. It remains better in some mass pockets but with low collections.
