RADHE SHYAM (Hindi) continued to go down heavily on Tuesday as collections dropped another 20% as it collected 1.15 crore nett. The five day collections of the film 16.50 crore nett and its looking like the Hindi version will not even hit 20 crore nett in its final run.
The scenario is pretty much similar in Nizam/Andhra though the overall collections there are better due to the initial weekend. The film has collected around 70 crore nett in Nizam/Andhra in five days but the collections on day five were just 1.75 crore nett. It is going to finish up with around 75 crore nett in Andhra and you take another 10 crore nett in the rest of South.
The all India lifetime business of the film is looking to be around 105 crore nett, give or take a couple of crore. The South is not really affected by THE KASHMIR FILES wave but still the film is crashing like nine pins there.
The collections of RADHE SHYAM in Hindi till date are as follows.
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 1,15,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 16,65,00,000 apprx

RADHE SHYAM (Hindi) crashed on Monday and this was pretty much expected. The film collected 1.50 crore nett on Monday and the collections were down almost 70% from Friday. The collections of the film in Hindi stand at 15.50 crore nett.
These are very low numbers but even if they come out lower, it would not be that shocking as there is hardly any market for a film which looks a south dubbed romantic film. The last decade has seen even a Shah Rukh Khan struggle in the genre; so what chance a film from South India have in the same genre.
The bigger issue for RADHE SHYAM is that it has also crashed in Andhra Pradesh with just 3 crore nett apprx coming in that market. So in an attempt to make a national film, the regional market has gone for a toss which had star power going for it.
The collections of RADHE SHYAM in Hindi till date are as follows.
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 1,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 15,50,00,000 apprx

RADHE SHYAM (Hindi) had a poor weekend of 14 crore nett as the crowds went crazy over THE KASHMIR FILES. But even if THE KASHMIR FILES was not there it is unlikely the film would have done well. The film started with a low opening and could not do much thereafter. Even on Sunday, there was hardly any growth.
RADHE SHYAM is a bilingual film in Hindi and Telugu and though the look and feel of the film is not Telugu it looked that way to audience because of the hero and the audience took it as south dubbed romantic film which is a total no no for the Hindi audience. Only action can have chances from the South and that too if it is not run of the mill either with story telling or scale.
The collections of the film were a little better in Maharashtra be it Mumbai circuit, CP Berar or Marathawada but that is the norm for these type of films. Even Hyderabad had some decent collections for a limited release for the Hindi version. North was very dull but that is expected.
The weekend collections of RADHE SHYAM are as follows.
Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 4,50,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 5,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 14,00,00,000 apprx

THE KASHMIR FILES was phenomenal on the second day as the collections went to 8.25 crore nett with many screens added across the country especially mass pockets where the film did not see a release on day one and this is likely to go up further.
The standout on day two was Gujarat/Saurashtra and Delhi/UP which saw growth of 300% on the second day compared the 150% growth across India. This lead to Mumbai circuit going over 3 crore nett on day two compared to 1.25 crore nett on day one.
The performance of the film is equally impressive in East Punjab and other areas are slowly catching especially as screens get added. The two day business of the film is 11.50 crore nett and Sunday is likely to put up a huge number as multiplexes across all major cities look like getting close to their capacities. The public has basically taken to the film and the sky is the limit.
The two day collections of THE KASHMIR FILES are as follows.
Friday - 3,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 8,25,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 11,50,00,000 apprx
RADHE SHYAM went nowhere on Saturday as it collected in the same range as Friday to have a two day total of 9 crore nett. The collections of RADHE SHYAM went the opposite as compared to THE KASHMIR FILES as it dropped at many places. It remains better in some mass pockets but with low collections.
The two day collections of RADHE SHYAM are as follows.
Friday - 4,50,00,000
Saturday - 4,50,00,000
TOTAL - 9,00,00,000 apprx
