RADHE SHYAM (Hindi) had a poor weekend of 14 crore nett as the crowds went crazy over THE KASHMIR FILES. But even if THE KASHMIR FILES was not there it is unlikely the film would have done well. The film started with a low opening and could not do much thereafter. Even on Sunday, there was hardly any growth.

RADHE SHYAM is a bilingual film in Hindi and Telugu and though the look and feel of the film is not Telugu it looked that way to audience because of the hero and the audience took it as south dubbed romantic film which is a total no no for the Hindi audience. Only action can have chances from the South and that too if it is not run of the mill either with story telling or scale.

The collections of the film were a little better in Maharashtra be it Mumbai circuit, CP Berar or Marathawada but that is the norm for these type of films. Even Hyderabad had some decent collections for a limited release for the Hindi version. North was very dull but that is expected.
