PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) had a good first week as it collected 26.50 crore nett. The film started slow last Friday but picked up strongly in certain pockets and those pockets have gone on an unbelievable steady run as collections on day seven remain better than day one in these places. At other places, it also held steady though at low collections.

The film is being driven by Maharashtra and Gujarat both doing outstanding business while North India is dull. NCR and East Punjab have low collections though UP and Bihar are pretty good especially the latter. The film has done well in its original format in Telugu again showing how difficult it is to win on both sides. The results were same with films like 2.0 and SAAHO which proved HITS in Hindi but could not do as well in their own markets.

The test for PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) will be the second Friday and if it comes through it will prove to be a rare dubbed HIT film. The film was facing competition from SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME and now in week two it is '83 and although the release in multiplexes was not big for PUSHPA: THE RISE - PART 01 (Hindi) in week one that has gone even more restricted in week two even though collections have held. The film added another 2.75 crore nett in Telugu from the Hindi circuits.
