SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME had a huge extended first week as it collected around 148 crore nett. The film had a drop on Wednesday but then on Thursday recorded the same collections as Wednesday to go into week two with rock steady collections.
The film is looking like the first BLOCKBUSTER film in India post pandemic as collections seem to have held up very well on its second Friday despite the release of '83. The way the film is going on Friday morning, it looks like the 200 crore nett mark will be easy for the film and the finish will be more in the 225-250 crore nett range.
The film has done well across the board though the outperformance is in South India with Hindi circuits playing catch up through the week. The Hindi circuits were catching up but now there is huge competition with '83 which may give the Southern circuits an advantage again.
The business of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME till date is as follows.
Thursday - 32,75,00,000 apprx
Friday - 20,00,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 26,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 29,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 12,25,00,000 apprx
Tuesday - 10,50,00,000 apprx
Wednesday - 8,50,00,000 apprx
Thursday - 8,50,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 1,47,75,00,000 apprx
