Kriti Sanon has just one song and a few scenes left to shoot to complete her film Mimi, an adaptation of the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy!.

The film, backed by Dinesh Vijan, was among those whose shoot had to be stalled when the lockdown was implemented in March. The song, composed by A R Rahman, is likely to be shot towards the end of this month. Though the film is based in Rajasthan, the song in question will be shot on a set in Mumbai with a bunch of dancers, Kriti, and the international cast of the film.

Confirming this, director Laxman Utekar told BT, “We hope to wrap the song in December itself. The producers are planning to release Mimi theatrically, but nothing has been finalised yet. We would have loved to shoot this song in Rajasthan, but travelling to the state with a big crew and cast will not be feasible right now. The international cast of the film will be flying to Mumbai for the shoot as they are required for the continuity of the film. The song is important for the narrative, and we are aiming to wrap it up soon.”
