On Sunday, Mirror learnt that Shibasish Sarkar, the CEO of Reliance Entertainment, has tested positive for Covid-19.

When Mirror reached out to him, Shibasish confirmed the news, saying, “Hospitalised currently in Kokilaben, but proper treatment is happening. Will get well soon.”

Shibasish is raring to go back to work with Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi and Kabir Khan’s '83. The release of both films was pushed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. They will release once normalcy returns. The producer hopes to be home soon. According to sources, his fever has abated and he is on the road to recovery.
