Actors often interact with fans and enjoy their love and attention. There are also times when some fans become a part of a celeb’s life. Rashami Desai, 34, is one such actor, who enjoys a close connect with her fans. And through one such fan club, she got to know about a fan who recently passed away after contracting Covid-19.

Deeply affected by the news, she took to Twitter and wrote, “Life is strange, Life is tough, Not fair, Feeling helpless & devastated atm, Much much love and strength to the family of @RashamiKiFan, #RIP we lost a charm (sic)...”

Talking about the same, Desai shares, “One of my fan clubs informed me about this person, who was my fan and had been diagnosed with Coronavirus. Initially, I thought it was a prank, but then one of my close fans found out that it was true. I was sad to hear that she was serious, and how she was a genuine fan. Her entire family is in trauma as she passed away on April 6.”

Though the fan, who lived abroad, had posted on Twitter about her condition, she couldn’t get a response from Desai in time.

“Pehle lockdown ab ye news, bahut farak padta hai… It is not easy but one has to stay at home and thankfully, I have company. So many people are not taking the lockdown seriously. Getting out of the house even for 10 to 15 minutes, just because you are bored, might be harmful, not just for you but for your family, too,” she signs off.
