With everyone trying different ways to cope with the Coronavirus lockdown, actor Manisha Koirala is reminded of when she was battling cancer. Her experience, she says, has helped her deal with the present.

“During my treatment, I was locked up in my apartment. It was a six-month-long procedure. That was a thousand times worse. Even if we’re locked up for two months now, it at least gives us hope that things will get better if we follow all instructions,” says the 49-year-old, who is with her parents Prakash and Sushma Koirala in Mumbai.

She’s also focusing on good things in life like gardening and writing. “I’ve just started writing. Let’s see what it finally turns out to be, a book or a screenplay,” the actor adds.

But, she does feel low. “This happens to me and my mother at times. We talk, watch a film etc, to feel better,” says Koirala.
