The much raved film (by media) THAPPAD, which was actually called the most important film ever made in India on release, has been given a tight slap by the audience. These sort of gimmicks actually deserve this sort of treatment from the audience. The film has been totally rejected everywhere with even metro cities recording not so good collections.

The film did look bad from the trailers much like its predecessors like SAAND KI AANKH, CHHAPAAK and PANGA but sometimes metros do take to these type of films if they like the content but no such thing happened here. The film collected under 1 crore nett on its second Friday and its probably going to finish around the 30 crore nett mark. The film may have been affected a little by the corona virus news but that will be around 10-15 lakhs only and hardly alters its fate.
