SHUBH MANGAL ZYADA SAAVDHAN did well on Saturday as it collected 10.75 crore nett on Saturday which is a jump of 20% from Mahashivratri holiday. The real value of the Friday collections is around 50-55% as if it was not a holiday it would have been a 7 crore nett Friday

The jump is good but for this type of film though a little more than 50-55% was probably optimum. The two day collections are almost 20 crore nett and its pretty sure to do a 30 crore nett weekend which is a good result for the film. If the film can hold well on Monday it should do well. The last two Ayushmann Khurana films have done 140 and 110 crore nett respectively so the trade and industry starts to expect numbers in that range but the numbers for these depend on the content and not the actor as opening is never huge.

This will not do the numbers of those films but if Monday can hold at 50% or of Friday then it will do at least decent numbers if not good numbers at the box office.
