LOVE AAJ KAL crashed after good first day collections due to Valentines Day. The film collected nearly 32 crore nett in week one but the first day collections were 11.75 crore nett which is nearly 37% of the first week total. The collections were in for a free fall over the weekdays due to the rejection of the film.

Normally it is not expected that films collecting at these levels can crash like this. The scenario is more likely for the bigger films as they are collecting at much higher levels initially but this film shows even films which have a limited target audience can go out fast. The film is a flop for Kartik Aaryan after a good run of 3 HIT films. But when a director delivers 62 crore with Shah Rukh Khan in a similar film, then there is little hope that a Kartik Aaryan can do better. The film will hardly do any second week collections and a 35 crore nett finish is the best the film can hope for.
