PATI PATNI AUR WOH did well on day two as it picked up 11.50 crore nett taking its two day numbers to 20 crore nett. The growth on day two is decent but not as much as BALA which was a similar zone film released a few weeks back.

The Saturday growth tends to be stronger for these type of films nowadays as the opening numbers are relatively not as strong as a few years back when this this sort of 35-40% growth would be considered very good.

The film is generally faring well at the multiplexes of A centres and the film has better numbers than LUKA CHUPPI over the first two days and the growth on Saturday is similar. Obviously the target is the business of LUKA CHUPPI and so far it is ahead by around 1 crore nett over the first two days but it is about Monday as its hard to tell how well this film will hold over the weekdays at the moment.

PATI PATNI AUR WOH had a good first weekend of 33.50 crore nett and the growth over the weekend was pretty good though some recent films in this zone have shown better weekend growth. The business has topped the numbers of LUKA CHUPPI which had a 32 crore nett weekend and were the best numbers for a Kartik Aryan film.

The film bettered LUKA CHUPPI due to the business on Friday and Saturday while Sunday was in the same range. This may be due to the cricket match which could have made the film loose a little bit of business on Sunday though it would in lakhs and crores.

The weekend business is probably enough for the film to emerge a success but whether it can become a HIT or not will depend on the next few days as Monday has to hold and then it has to sustain well over the week.

PATI PATNI AUR WOH had a good hold on Monday as it dropped less than 40% from Friday and collected 5.25 crore nett apprx. The film has good chances of becoming a HIT though it must have a decent second week as the first week is heading for collections in the 52-53 crore nett range.

The collections of the film are still ahead of LUKA CHUPPI but it will have a task to beat the lifetime numbers of that film. The top grosser of Kartik Aryan is SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY and that film probably will not be caught as that film held up very strongly for a few weeks. Also this film will only get a two week run due to the release of DABANGG 3. A realistic target maybe 75 or 80 crore nett for this film due to DABANGG 3 and that itself will be a good finish.
