Katrina Kaif, who turned 36 on Tuesday, is currently holidaying in Mexico. The birthday girl marked the day with a pic of herself on the beach, rocking a white bikini top with a tasselled sarong.

With the actress away in Taco Land, her friends from wonderland had to resort to wishing her on the social media. Referring to a series of pictures that the actress has shared from her vacation, Arjun Kapoor cheekily pointed out that she had “basically gone on a photo shoot”, adding, “On your birthday I shall be nice to you Katrina...you are a mad kind goofy soul and I love you because of your nonsense not despite it”. Bharat co-star, Salman Khan, shared a still from their last release, crooning virtually, “Happy Birthday Katrinaaa”. Workout buddy, Alia Bhatt, wrote, “May you laugh and dance all day... shine and smile all year and give us body goals your whole life”.

Filmmaker bestie, Ali Abbas Zafar, got emotional with a monochrome memory, “Sometimes I don’t know how we survive this bond ... may this be like this forever”, while her “Sheila ki Jawaani” director, Farah Khan, philosophised, “Angels fly because they take themselves lightly… go spread your wings this year baby… love u.” Karan Johar had the last word: “Will spend all day liking your posts.”

Once the Kat is back, she will resume shooting for Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty in Hyderabad.
