KESARI did well in week two with collections near the 30 crore nett mark. The fall from week one is over 70% but that is taking the extended holiday first week so in real value the drop is less. The total collections of the film are now 135 crore nett making it the second highest Akshay Kumar grosser after 2.0 (Hindi).

The film edged past the numbers of TOILET - EK PREM KATHA and ROWDY RATHORE in terms of NETT collections. It will probably need another week or so to go past the GROSS numbers of these films. The footfalls of ROWDY RATHORE wont be reached which remains the biggest blockbuster of Akshay Kumar alongside the 1994 film MOHRA.

KESARI will have ROMEO AKBAR WALTER for competition this week but should remain pretty steady and gradually push itself towards the 150 crore nett mark.
