MANIKARNIKA - THE QUEEN OF JHANSI (Hindi) was steady on its second Tuesday showing hardly any drop from the previous day. The film had a similar trend last week when the weekdays did not drop much. The film collected 2 crore nett apprx on its second Tuesday as took its total to 74.25 crore nett in 12 days.

The film is looking to finish its second week with a total of 78 crore nett and then the competition this week will be mainly from the Hollywood release ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL and it remains to be seen if this film can open. A good hold on the third Friday can push this film to the 90 crore nett mark.

The performance of the film is generally average or a little better in some circuits but Mumbai has held it back. If some other circuits had been strong then it would matter less as they could have compensated.
