MANIKARNIKA - THE QUEEN OF JHANSI (Hindi) showed a fall in business of 25-30% on its second Friday as the reports finally caught up with the film. Despite the public response being not so good the film was still in with a chance of being a HIT as somehow it held up on the weekdays.

But on the second Friday it had to drop 5-10% from the Thursday and there was a good chance due to the weak competition but it was not to be and the film dropped much more. The film has a total of a little under 60 crore nett in eight days and is now looking to emerge an AVERAGE fare at best if it holds over the next 10-15 days or so.

It is a pretty good result for a solo Kangana Ranaut starrer though not for the cost. Also when a film changes directors while in making there is always a good chance the product is not going to what it should be and that is probably why the film has not found much appreciation.
