Duo plays a married couple trying to have a baby in their next; will shoot for a song with Ganesh Acharya

Mirror had earlier (February 13) reported that Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor were shooting in an Oshiwara building for Raj Mehta’s directorial debut, Good News, along with co-stars Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Now, we have learnt that the lead actors are headed to Delhi for another schedule, where they will be filming a celebratory song.

A source from the sets says, “It will a five-day schedule, for which choreographer Ganesh Acharya has been brought on board. The actors will be shooting on the streets as well on a set. The upcoming schedule is crucial as it establishes Akshay and Kareena’s characters as a Delhi-based couple in the film, even though major portions have been shot on a Mumbai set.”

Diljit and Kiara who won’t be part of the Delhi schedule, play a Punjabi couple in the film who help Akshay and Kareena’s characters, who resort to IVF to have a baby after seven years of marriage.

Good News marks a reunion for Akshay and Kareena, who were last paired opposite each other in the 2007 film Kambakkht Ishq. Kareena also had cameos in Akshay’s Rowdy Rathore, Gabbar Is Back and Brothers. Their first collaboration was on Abbas–Mustan’s thriller, Ajnabee. Kareena is also reuniting with Udta Punjab co-star Diljit.
