After spending time with his father Rishi Kapoor in New York where he is undergoing treatment, Ranbir Kapoor resumed the shooting of Brahmastra with co-star and girlfriend Alia Bhatt on Monday. The actors will be shooting for the Mumbai schedule over 10 days at a suburban studio where a huge set has been put up.

A source from the sets says, “Alia and Ranbir will be filming a song, along with some action sequences over the next few days. They resumed work with a night shoot on Monday for which they were rehearsing with the director earlier in the day. The team will be working till the early hours for the next few days.”

Director Ayan Mukerji and Alia had a meeting with choreographer Bosco Martis on Sunday. The actors attended dance rehearsals at a studio in Bandra over the weekend as part of their prep. Ranbir sweated it out at the gym before heading to the set while Alia wrapped up another work commitment. The fantasy adventure that kicked off in February, also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy who plays the villain as part of its ensemble cast. A major portion of the film was shot in Bulgaria earlier this year.
