Priyanka Chopra’s day probably clocks in 72 hours, instead of the regular 24. At least that is what the makers of her film The Sky Is Pink, believe. The actress, just a few days away from getting married to American singer Nick Jonas, has been burning the midnight oil to complete her work in the film before taking her wedding vows. In the midst of the film’s Delhi schedule, she flew off to Paris to choose her footwear for the big day. The wedding functions will begin from November 30 and culminate on December 2. Priyanka, who is also a co-producer of the film, has a few days of shooting in Delhi, followed by a schedule in Mumbai and a few days in Andaman & Nicobar Islands before the film wraps up.

If one recalls, Priyanka had opted out of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, owing to her impending marriage. Around that time, it was speculated that PeeCee could also drop out of The Sky Is Pink as an actor. However, Sidharth Roy Kapur, who is co-producing the film with PeeCee, says, “There was never an either or situation. Her decisions on both the films were independent of each other. We designed the dates of our film keeping her wedding in mind.” When asked if Priyanka’s wedding preparations ever got into the way of the shoot, Sidharth says, “I don’t know how she does it. She probably has 72 hours in a day. She rocks it with a smile and has great energy on the set. Priyanka is shooting the film till the eve of her wedding functions, which shows what a thorough professional she is.”
